Oh I know that feeling, you and a friend going to do something then having to wait for them to do something else. And in fairness, new shoes are less likely to be noticed compared to a haircut or clothes. Also, I've been away for quite a few weeks so... a couple pages earlier there was a sign that said please go wild responsibly. What does going wild entail exactly?

Especially when you really need to be somewhere else! Like Gavin says, he could have pointed them out for how excited he is about them. Probably too into the story Darkfang told. Glad you're interested in going wild. It's come up a few times now. I'm going to hold off on saying anything, though, for it will be addressed in the comic quite soon. (Welcome back!)
All caught up!

I read the whole thing already, in just two days, because I was having so much fun reading it (and all of the fun comments/behind the scenes stuff). I can't wait for there to be more! Keep up the fantastic work!

If it's too much of a spoiler you don't have to answer, obviously, but I have a question: Are Darkfang/Ronnie and Gavin/Pup a couple? Or crushing on each other? It could just be that they are super-duper-close friends, of course, that sometimes looks like romance, but I read over a hundred issues in two days so I might have missed something.

Thanks for reading! Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks for the compliment. That's one of the most frustrating things about the art of storytelling - you blazed through in 2 days and I've been making it for 2 years. Good grief! :)

The only gay werewolf in the comic is Floyd. Although it is possible we'll see an ex wolf boyfriend of his, as there are other gay 'wolves in town. But they're not intended to be any sort of main characters. So, no, Darkfang and Gavin are not a couple. They're just bros. A backstory to their friendship exists, which will be told if and when I am able to get to it and/or can fit it logically in the comic. Right now I'm still getting out the basics from my original concept!

Again, thanks for reading. Just curious - who's your favorite 'wolf?
My favorite werewolf in Wolverton

Gavin is my favorite werewolf so far, because I like how eager he is to please, yet he consistently remains a good boy. I hope he boosts his self-esteem, because he's too nice and fun to be a door mat. I'm enjoying his character arc, and I'm really wondering how his grandparents will react when/if they find out about him. I guess I relate, having had a secret from my family in my youth that involved a locking box out in the woods (I kept journals, club clothes, and dude magazines in it) and I also hung around a lot of older dudes a couple of towns over. It's probably why I projected gayness onto him in my mind, in all honesty - he really reminds me of my younger self in a lot of ways.

Oh, and I wouldn't say that I blazed through it; I was hooked and couldn't stop reading, and I'm cooped up in my house recovering from surgery, so I just had to keep on reading this thing that had managed to hold my attention so well! I'm honestly hooked on Wolverton... I love the werewolf history puns and plays on words, the lore and world building are fantastic, there are Easter Eggs all over it, and it's just plain comfy to read and look at.

Thumbs up. Glad Gavin has a fan. :) And what a thing to relate to! I think you'll be pleased, then, in the upcoming pages. ;) And yes, Darkfang is much older, but he acts like a child anyway. Thanks for satisfying my curiosity and again, for reading.

And especially for the nice compliments on the lore and jokes additions. I'm trying to make it fun and full of surprises. :D

No problem, you earned the praise the hard way! And hey, thanks for making Wolverton!

"But how could he Not notice BLAZING ORANGE?"

i think you answerd your own question.
okay i admit, i am biased but to me orange is the one of the worst Colors and the only Thing imho that can make orange look good are tigers.
Maybe Darkfang is not an orange fan too.
