I think it's funny that cartoon werewolves with no visible sexual parts deign to wear clothes, and then them that DO wear clothes only wear shirts most of the time (because otherwise you're naked) which wouldn't cover the bits that they don't even have. I half expect Donald Duck to show up - he'd fit right in!
Exactly, Wolfeye! The very cartoon convention I go by. The example that springs to mind for me is the Animaniacs. Yakko has pants but no shirt, Wakko has a shirt but no pants and Dot is topless in a skirt. Go figure. It's just a very charming trope in comics and animation.
I think the 'wolves in this case just prefer to see/have SOMETHING on, for both fun's sake and so as to not just be fur everywhere. Also, if it helps, in my comic world/view, the werewolves have a tuft of fur hiding any "naughty bits".
Yeah, I think that the solme fact to wear *something* makes them animal characters being "human". So its not a matter of covering what ever, its just "we are people and people wear clothes.
Which makes sense since these wolves live a pretty civilized life, with typical human accomodations
And now that I know a trick for "dressing" him in them rather quickly, the possibilities for the patterns are unlimited!
<joking!> :)
