There are many versions of the song "Blue Moon". For the record, 'The Lavender Lozenge' is singing a la Ella Fitzgerald, not the one that appears in An American Werewolf in London. To be honest, I don't really like that one, nor any 'fast' version. For me it negates the tenderness, sweetness, and longing of the song. To be even more honest, my favorite recording of "Blue Moon" is from the 80s TV show Moonlighting, as sung by Cybill Shepherd. Of course, she's perfomring it in the style of Fitzgerald as well. Here's that version: "Blue Moon" - Cybill Shepherd

Update October 18 2019: It's apparently been a while since I watched the entirety of An American Werewolf in London. It does have a rather nice "regular/slow" version of 'Blue Moon' at the beginning. The one that belts out at the end overshadowed the opening one for me. Silly me. It's even sung by a guy! ;)

Don't forget that WolfWear is made for 'wolves, by 'wolves. So yes, there is a slit for their tails designed in such a way (by fold/cut or lay of fabric or whatnot) as to be virtually invisible when not in use.
