New 'Wolves?
PeterVonBrown 16th Aug 2019, 8:55 AM edit delete
The werewolves on today's page may seem like new faces. But they've all appeared in the comic before. Madge (in purple) can be found on page 36 Wolverton Itself as well as working as the receptionist in the Burgermeister's office. Dmitri also shows up on page 36. Janice (in blue) first appeared on page 55 The Ruins. And Trevor, well, as you can guess, he tended his shop 'Bane of Your Existence' when Talbot, Charlie & George shopped on page 106 Bane Shop.

i remember these wolves...of course, that's probably because i only started reading the comic half a year ago, so most of the details are still fresh

so is that a banestick dmitri is smoking or an actual cigarette?
PeterVonBrown 6th Nov 2019, 4:26 AM edit delete reply
It's a regular cigarette, same as when he first appeared. If it were bane, the smoke would be purple. :) Dmitri doesn't smoke bane.

Why does the building look different from everything else? It looks a bit like someone else made the building and you added the rest in yourself?
PeterVonBrown 10th Nov 2019, 3:45 PM edit delete reply
No, I drew the building. I draw all the artwork in the comic myself (unless it's a wall decoration or such, for example Floyd's poster of Labyrinth.) By "everything else" do you mean within Wolverton? This scene takes place at The Ruins, the grand Park Patch which has a bunch of different structures designed to look like ruins as well as the actual Baía da Lua [Riqurélio's pirate ship]. This building is known as The Monastery. Here it's drawn from the other direction than its first appearance on page 55.
