As far as anyone can tell, yes. Apparently they can be. :)

Thanks for caring about the characters - means a lot!
And you should never be sorry for puns. :)

That's my kinda concert!
PeterVonBrown 29th Apr 2020, 5:01 PM edit delete reply
Well all right! You'll be happy to know there's a lot more at this concert. And for the record, the notes used on the pages are actual pieces as mentioned. :)

Poor Wilbur. And it doesn't look like he has any friends to sit near him either! :-(
PeterVonBrown 30th Apr 2020, 4:17 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, poor Wilbur has to sit alone. :/

He needs a friend. He seems to be a good guy and doesn't deserve to be lonely or picked on. This is supposed to be a haven for everywolf, after all.

Right you are! I'm working on that. Wilbur had been a character from the resurgence drawings that caused the comic. So aside from a couple of bits/scenes planned for him he does need more to do. Don't forget though that he came to wish Amanda well on the concert, so he's at least friends with her. And Doyle at least tolerates him. Larry didn't seem to mind him and Talbot greeted him with enthusiasm. But otherwise, yes, I feel sorry for him as well, so I'm thinking up new avenues for him.

I can't help but wonder if much of his "bad luck" is due either to lack of confidence or over-eagerness. I've had that happen to me where I really want to do something well but it ends up pear-shaped because I tried too hard. (Much like Talbot's attempts at romance.) Being self-conscious probably doesn't help either (he knows he's clumsy, so he tries too hard to avoid being clumsy--if that makes any sense).

Well, it may be that he has people who like or (at least) tolerate him, but no one is sitting near him now so he's sort of alone in the crowd even if there are folks like Talbot and Amanda who might hang out with him at other times. I think it sticks out here the most because every other 'wolf seems to have their own pack or, at least, folks near them.
PeterVonBrown 1st May 2020, 6:29 PM edit delete reply
Makes total sense. :) Right now it's sad, yes, but it's just that none of the 'wolves who would hang with Wilbur could make it to the concert. Except for Doyle. He chose not to, and can currently be found in Larry's Place, predictably.

Fine Arts event, and still that wonderful small town informality!

Rock AND Classical concerts!

I love Wolverton!
PeterVonBrown 30th Apr 2020, 4:23 AM edit delete reply
Yay! I love that you love Wolverton. :) And don't forget the Art Gallery shown on page 194. It will show up again eventually. One of the 'wolves you've met will have an exhibit. Cultured werewolves - who knew? Apparently me. ;)

Oh! I meant to ask earlier, what type of music does Loup Garou play? I mean, rock can cover a lot and they could have a much wider range of music (rap, country, even symphonic metal!).

The answer to this is the Author Comment on Page 20 Party On, Talbot! :)

Ah! Thanks! I had forgotten that!
