Pakuni - the language developed by linguist Victoria Fromkin for the 1970s TV show Land of the Lost. It's the first fictional language ever created for a television program predating even Klingon from Star Trek.

I suppose Jon and Floyd can be considered nerds. However that word applies much more to an upcoming character (even if he's not a werewolf).

Nothing "suppose" about it. if you are that much into a series ,you are a nerd. they are practically only one step away from a klingon Marriage. xD
I mean all that of course in a loving way. after all, most of us a nerds in there own way. ^v^

either his translation skills aren't up to snuff, or that syntax is horrible

also, blushing shouldn't be visible through fur - but given so many anthro artists do the exact same thing, among other impossibilities, it's not a big deal

"Man is the only animal that blushes, or needs to." - Mark Twain.

Love Mark Twain. Floyd's both man and animal. :)

The Pakuni are missing link type primates with a limited vocabulary of about 200 words. Considering that, Jon did quite well. So did Floyd, putting it down exactly as written. He had no need of making it a perfect read, he just wanted to know what Jon said.

There are never any whoosh/movement lines in real life either. It's not real life. It's a comic.
