Can a book be a trick question?
Does the book trick you with questions or does it teach you how to trick with questions?
And is asking this questions maybe the point of a trick question book?
We need answers!
xD

It's a novel. Unless high school freshman Jeremy finds the Master to stop a rival warlock (to the Master), the world ends at midnight on Halloween. Each answer Jeremy uncovers only spawns more questions. So the title refers to the enigmatic nature of events and pop quizzes at school.

Why'd Gavin look ticked off when Talbot first called his name?
PeterVonBrown 14th Jul 2021, 9:15 AM edit delete reply
PeterVonBrown
He didn't recognize Talbot's 'shouting' voice, and Gavin's not very well (if at all) known in town so he felt suspicious of who would know his name to call out to him.

So why's he look ticked off instead of confused or wary?

So why's he look ticked off instead of confused or wary?

One eyebrow is up and the other down, which is pretty standard 'confused'. His muzzle is a bit more neutral-frowny, but this also tends to be the case with a confused look.

That and he's also a hothead and on edge a lot of the time. Plus he wouldn't want to look vulnerable given the experience he had out here last time.

Ah, the venerable station wagon heading away.

Wonder if station wagons will ever make a comeback, or if they are as dead as the rumble seat.

It likely will, with some alleged modern twist.

Heh, yeah, well, they were already actually shown reading them in the comic. So I figured why not? :)
