looks like we're getting the IMPORTANT question out of the way aren't we not p.s. @Talbot: when did you realize you were a werewolf?
PeterVonBrown 3rd May 2017, 10:54 AM edit delete reply
Well, George DID say the Burgermeister would ask for sure... :)

Talbot has answered this twice already in the comic. If you need further info, you'll have it in two weeks.

I've heard that people in Thailand traditionally went without surnames.
PeterVonBrown 3rd May 2017, 12:29 PM edit delete reply
Cool. After all, what are surnames but exactly what Basil describes? Names came from location, occupation, lineage, etc.
JammyTheBirb 3rd May 2017, 4:30 PM edit delete reply
I love how the wolves go by this process reminiscent of how surnames came to be in the first place. Everything's so simple, it must be a really nice pace of life!
PeterVonBrown 5th May 2017, 2:13 PM edit delete reply
I can only agree, Jammy. As Liz Lemon (30 Rock) says, "I want to go to there." It's one of the pitfalls of creating a place, right? :)
Wildwolf42 5th May 2017, 11:49 AM edit delete reply
That IS the most important question...
PeterVonBrown 5th May 2017, 2:10 PM edit delete reply
For the Burgermeister, indeed. ;)

Hmmm... do they have ID numbers? like a social security number or something? Surely that's easier than trying to identify someone by scent or droopy-eared-ness.

I am really curious how this utopia-esque place handles thieves, considering the events with Darkfang and his amulet?
PeterVonBrown 6th May 2017, 5:14 AM edit delete reply
No, there aren't ID numbers. They just use name, description, scent & location.

In general, 'crime' or such doesn't come up in town. On some level they've all been shunned by the outside world, so they're all there to live happily and peacefully among other 'wolves. Not saying it never happens, though. And yes, there are methods for dealing with misconduct. Eventually it will be in the comic. However, those who stole Darkfang's amulet are not Wolvertonians.
spidar 6th May 2017, 6:36 AM edit delete reply
Hmm. Certainly not a very scientific method! Haha!

Ah, that explains a lot about them.
Also kind of off topic on this page but, is their crow also a lycanthrope? Are there other were-creatures?
PeterVonBrown 6th May 2017, 11:41 AM edit delete reply
So far it's worked for 'em ;)

Nope, Roland the raven is not a were-creature. Just quite clever, as ravens are. The answer as to whether or not there are other were-creatures is that the comic won't include any 'weres' beyond a wolf shape.

Odd questions are often made at a citizenship request. But here I am curious to see why the Burgermeister ask the one about Basils Burgers
PeterVonBrown 18th May 2017, 10:54 AM edit delete reply
He just has a special interest since it's his restaurant and recipe/cooking methods.
